TCU’s Olivia Miles (player), BYU’s Olivia Hamlin (co-freshman) and Kansas’ Jaliya Davis (co-freshman) took home Big 12 women’s basketball weekly honors for the penultimate week of the 2025-26 campaign. Davis’ eight straight league Freshman of the Week honors are tied for the most consecutive Freshman of the Week titles by any Power Conference player all-time.
BYU’s Delaney Gibb and Iowa State’s Audi Crooks join the trio on the Big 12 Starting Five, which highlights strong performances from around the league.
Miles posted her fifth triple-double of the season and 11th of her career in TCU’s 80-73 comeback victory against Iowa State. The graduate student led all players with 26 points and 10 rebounds while padding her stat line with 10 assists. She scored 17 of her points in the fourth quarter, helping the Horned Frogs erase a 13-point deficit with 7:30 remaining to put TCU within a game of clinching a share of the Big 12 regular season title. Miles is now tied with Baylor’s Brittney Griner and K-State’s Shalee Lehning for the most career triple-doubles by a Big 12 player and is tied with Caitlin Clark for the third-most triple-doubles in a season in NCAA history. The Wooden Award Late Midseason Top 20 Watch List member scored her 2,000th career point in the third quarter against the Cyclones, becoming the ninth active DI player to reach the milestone and one of four players in NCAA history to tally at least 2,000 points, 800 rebounds and 800 assists. Miles had 18 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals to start the week in a road win over Houston. She is the first player since Iowa State’s Bridget Carleton in 2019 to win the league’s Player of the Week three weeks in a row.
Hamlin averaged 13.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.0 assists during the week as BYU completed a season sweep of rival Utah. The native of Santa Clara, Utah turned in a crucial 11 points while adding three rebounds in the 86-74 win. Hamlin started her week with 16 points and three steals against Cincinnati. This is her second Freshman of the Week honor this season.
Davis scored in double figures for the 18th straight game with 16 points and nine rebounds in KU’s 75-68 road rivalry win over K-State. It marked the Jayhawks’ first victory over the Wildcats in Bramlage Coliseum since 2019 and their first sweep of K-State since 2013. Davis is tied for the highest scoring freshman in the country this season with 21.3 points per game, while her 22.0 points per game in league play ranks second among Conference players.
Gibb scored 37 points against Utah while shooting 61.9% from the field and led the league in scoring during the week with 28.5 points per game. Crooks finished the week with two 20-point games, including a 28-point, 12-rebound effort against Arizona State for her 11th double-double of the season.
