The Big 12 Conference announces that Iowa State’s gymnastics meet on Friday, Feb. 6, against West Virginia has been canceled as Iowa State does not have enough gymnasts available to safely field a team.

Per Conference rule, the member institution unable to field a team will forfeit the contest if no extraordinary circumstances exist.

As a result, West Virginia will gain a win in the league standings while Iowa State will earn a loss. League standings only apply to the Conference’s regular season schedule.
