TCU’s Olivia Miles (player) and Kansas’ Jaliya Davis (freshman) collected Big 12 women’s basketball hardware for the 14th week of the 2025-26 campaign. Davis joins former K-State player Ayoka Lee (2019-20 season) as the only two players in league history to win the league’s Freshman of the Week honor six consecutive weeks.
Baylor’s Taliah Scott, Colorado’s Jade Masogayo and West Virginia’s Jordan Harrison join the award winners on the Big 12 Starting Five, which highlights strong performances from around the league.
Miles averaged 28.0 points during the week, including scoring a career-high 31 points in TCU’s road contest against Colorado. The guard from Phillipsburg, New Jersey led all scorers with 25 points in TCU’s victory over Houston to start the week. Miles shot 64.5% from the field during the two games and 91.7% from the free-throw line. The Midseason Top 10 candidate for the Nancy Lieberman Award has scored 20 or more points in 10 of her last 14 starts and has an NCAA-leading 20 games with at least 15 points and five assists. This is the three-time All-American’s third Big 12 Player of the Week honor this season.
Davis led the Jayhawks to a 2-0 record by scoring 28 points in both games against BYU and Cincinnati. The forward from Overland Park, Kansas recorded her first career double-double by adding a career-high 12 rebounds in the win over the Cougars. Davis pulled down eight rebounds against the Bearcats to average a double-double for the week with 10.0 rebounds per game. The freshman phenom shot 75% from the field during the week and was 14-18 from the free-throw line. Davis leads all freshmen nationally in scoring in conference games with 22.9 points per game.
Scott averaged 21.5 points while guiding Baylor to two victories during the week. Masogayo had a career-high of 23 points, including a game-winning and-one free throw to take an 80-79 victory over then-No. 14 TCU. Harrison recorded a career-high eight steals against Arizona and started the week with six against Colorado, while also scoring double-figures in both WVU victories.
