IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 has announced its five men’s basketball games that will be featured and nationally televised as part of ESPN’s 2027 Big Monday lineup.
 
Kansas will visit Houston on Feb. 1 for a showdown between two of the top coaches in the nation in Kansas’ Bill Self and Houston’s Kelvin Sampson. The Jayhawks knocked off the Cougars at Allen Fieldhouse a season ago before Houston returned the favor by earning a victory over Kansas in Kansas City at the Big 12 Tournament. Houston earned its seventh-consecutive Sweet 16 appearance in 2026 while Kansas won its first round game at the NCAA Tournament.
 
Arizona, the reigning Big 12 Champion and fresh off an appearance in the 2026 Final Four, will play host to TCU on Feb. 8. The Horned Frogs returned to the NCAA Tournament in 2026 and knocked off Ohio State in their first round matchup.
 
Houston will make a second appearance on Big Monday on Feb. 15 when it visits Texas Tech. The Red Raiders went 14-2 at home a season ago, including a 90-86 win over the Cougars. Texas Tech went on to win its first round NCAA Tournament matchup against Akron.
 
Arizona will once again be featured on Big Monday with a trip to Provo to challenge BYU on Feb. 22. Each of the last three contests between Arizona and BYU have been decided by seven points or less with the Wildcats claiming wins in both games a season ago.
 
The Big 12’s Big Monday slate closes on March 1 when Iowa State makes the trip to face Kansas. The Jayhawks and Cyclones traded victories against each other last season with each team defending its home court. Iowa State went on to finish its season with a Sweet 16 appearance.
