Joshua Conrad

Title: Associate Director - Communications

Joshua Conrad was promoted to Associate Director - Communications for the Big 12 in 2025.

He was previously hired as Assistant Director - Media Services after serving as a Will Hancock Communications Assistant for the Big 12 in 2021-22. His title was changed to Assistant Director - Communications in 2024. Conrad assists with all communications efforts for the league, including women's basketball and lacrosse along with helping coordinate Big12Sports.com and the Big 12 Athletes of the Year and Bob Bowlsby awards.

Conrad was previously the primary contact for Big 12 softball and volleyball from 2021-24 and was in charge of coordinating Big12Sports.com where he was the lead internal contact for the website's redesign. He also served as the league's primary media contact for the inaugural Big 12 Pro Day in 2024 and has helped the Conference serve as a host for multiple NCAA Men's Basketball Regionals and the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four. 

Before joining the league, Conrad worked the previous two years as a media relations student assistant in the University of Texas athletics communications office while earning his master’s degree in sport management. During his time in Austin, he assisted in media relations for various UT athletic teams including men's and women's basketball, football, men's and women's tennis and volleyball. 

The Round Rock, Texas native has previous experience at the National Football Foundation and FOX Sports Southwest (Bally Sports) while receiving his undergraduate degree in marketing with a minor in journalism from the University of North Texas.
