Clark Williams

Title: Vice President – Communications & Strategy

Clark Williams is the  Vice President of Communications & Strategy for the Big 12.  He oversees all sports, business, and strategic communications for the Big 12, and assists the Commissioner on a variety of strategic initiatives and special projects. Williams joined the league in 2022.

Before his tenure at the Big 12, Williams served as the Director of Communications for the Detroit Pistons since 2020. In this role, he oversaw brand and strategic communications, while serving in a managing role for basketball communications.

Prior to joining the Pistons, Williams spent five years as the Director of Sports at Berk Communications, leading public relations for Roc Nation Sports and their roster of athletes. Williams also provided communications strategy for the NFL, Atlanta Falcons, PUMA and more. Williams has also held public relations roles with Endeavor, the Oakland A's, and Major League Baseball. 

Williams is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a BS in Sport Management.
