Andy Louthain

Title: Associate Vice President - Compliance & Governance

Andy Louthain was promoted to Associate Vice President, Compliance & Governance in 2025 after joining the Big 12 Conference as Senior Director - Compliance & Governance in 2023. Louthain is responsible for administering all matters related to national and Conference governance and the Conference’s compliance program and services.

Louthain previously spent 17 years at the National Collegiate Athletic Association including 13 as an Associate Director of Academic and Membership Affairs.

Before his time at the NCAA, Louthain spent time at Michigan State, Marshall and Central Michigan University. 

Louthain received his Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University and earned his Master of Arts in Sport Administration from Central Michigan.
