John Womack

Title: Assistant Director - Ticketing & Partnerships

John Womack joined The Big 12 Conference in August of 2024 as Assistant Director - Ticketing & Partnerships. In this role, Womack works closely with The Senior Director - Ticketing & Partnerships to develop ticket operation efficiencies aimed at streamlining Big 12 Championship events. He also manages ticket operations with venue partners for all conference championships, bowl games, and ancillary events.
 
Before joining the Conference, Womack spent time at The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic where he was a CBAA Fred McClure Intern. As an intern, he assisted with operations, ticketing, marketing, and hospitality for The Goodyear Cotton Bowl as well as The Big 12 Football Championship Game and The Southwest Classic.
 
The Birmingham, Alabama native graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University in May of 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While he was a student at Auburn, he interned in event management and compliance within Auburn’s Athletic Department. He is currently completing his Master’s in Sport Management from The University of Florida’s online program.
