Morgan Hood

Title: Assistant Director – Legal Affairs

Morgan Hood joined the Big 12 Conference during the 2024-25 academic year as Assistant Director of Compliance & Governance and transitioned to Assitant Director of Legal Affairs in June 2026. In her role, Hood assists with the Conference’s legal affairs in a variety of aspects.

Hood was a Postgraduate Intern with the NCAA in Enforcement prior to joining the Big 12. While in law school, she worked in the Compliance Office at Indiana University’s athletic department. She also worked on the auditing team at Ernst & Young (EY).

A graduate of Wichita State, Hood earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and completed the Master of Accountancy program. She also earned her Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington. Hood is a registered CPA and a member of the Kansas Bar Association.
