Dominic Drury

Title: Director – Men's Basketball Operations

Dominic Drury joined the Big 12 Conference as Director of Men’s Basketball Operations in May 2026. In his role, he oversees the management and execution of conference basketball initiatives, including playing a key role in the administration of the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship, regular-season operations, game management, and officiating.

Drury came to the Big 12 from the Big West Conference, where he served as Assistant Commissioner for Basketball Operations and Finance. During his tenure, he spearheaded initiatives that elevated The Big West basketball enterprise, contributing to the conference’s highest national ranking since the 1999-2000 season, finishing 12th in both the NET and KenPom rankings. He oversaw the day-to-day operations of men’s and women’s basketball, including scheduling, officiating, and analytics, while also serving as tournament director for The Big West Basketball Championships. In addition, Drury assisted with the conference’s financial operations.

Prior to his time at The Big West, Drury spent five years with the University of Hawai‘i men’s basketball program. As Director of Basketball Operations for the Rainbow Warriors, he oversaw scheduling, academics, compliance, fundraising, community engagement, team travel, and the program’s day-to-day operations.

Drury began his career at Saint Mary’s College of California, where he worked as a student manager from 2014-2018 under current Arizona State head coach Randy Bennett.

A native of Hayward, California, Drury earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Saint Mary’s College in 2018 and a master’s degree in sport administration from Arkansas State University in 2020. He and his wife, Jessie, were married in 2022.
