Maggie Collins

Title: Director - Competition

Maggie Collins joined the Big 12 as Director - Competition in August 2026 after serving as the Assistant Commissioner for Championships and Sport Administration and the league liaison to the Senior's Women Administrators at the Southland Conference.

At the Southland Conference, she served as the primary sport administrator for Women's Volleyball, Softball, and Beach Volleyball and the secondary sport administrator for Cross Country, Indoor Track & Field and Outdoor Track & Field. While with the Southland Conference, she also held the titles of Assistant Director of Communications and Broadcast, Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications, Assistant Director of Conference Operations, and the Director of Internal Operations.

Prior to the Southland Conference, Collins worked at Childress High School as the Head Girls & Boys Cross Country Coach and as an assistant girls basketball and track and field coach. She taught Physical Education, College, Career & Military Readiness, as well as serving as the Dual-Credit Instructor in Psychology and Sociology.

Collins also served as a Graduate Assistant for Compliance at Southwestern Oklahoma State for over two years, where she provided academic advisement for all student-athletes and monitored eligibility.

A two-time Southwestern Oklahoma State graduate, Collins received her bachelor's degree in exercise science and her master's in Sports Management.
