"This was a tremendous college baseball game. When we got that 3-0 lead, we knew Missouri was going to make a run at it. We were obviously hoping to get to the eighth inning with the lead so Don (Czyz) could close it out for us. Missouri battled back and had some great at bats against Don with runners in scoring position. Then their center fielder makes a great play and their short stop makes a great play to take a couple of runs off the board that would have widened our lead. This was a great college baseball game."

"Disappointing way to end the regular season. Hopefully we still have a shot to continue playing, but I'm disappointed with the way our team reacted tonight with the things that occurred during the course of the baseball game. There's no place for the things that happened in college baseball and I like to think we have more integrity in our baseball program then what occurred in the course of the game. I'm not feeling like the season's over, but I'm just disappointed. I thought we played well and played hard, but the result of the game's overshadowed by what occurred during the course of the game. I'll take a look at the videotape and see what happened, but both teams lost their composure."
