Griffin Earns Unanimous All-America Distinction

Senior Kelsey Griffin (Nebraska) became the Big 12's sixth women's basketball player to earn unanimous All-America honors after being named to the first team of the State Farm Coaches, Associated Press, U.S. Basketball Writers and Wooden All-America squads.

The five former unanimous All-Americas were Alicia Thompson (Texas Tech), 1998; Stacey Dales (Oklahoma), 2001 and 2002; Nicole Ohlde (Kansas State), 2003, 2004; Kendra Wecker (Kansas State), 2005; and Courtney Paris (Oklahoma), 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

In addition Griffin was honored as the recipient of the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award.
