Seanna Johnson (Iowa State) and Natalie Chou (Baylor) were selected for Big 12 women’s basketball weekly awards. Johnson earned her seventh career award and second as player of the week. Chou garnered her first freshman recognition.

· Johnson averaged 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists as the Cyclones competed at rival Iowa and took on the nation’s No. 1 scoring offense in Northern Illinois.
· Netted 18 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished three assists in the loss at Iowa.
· Scored a career-high 33 points, which is tied for the eighth-highest single game output in school history, in the win over Northern Illinois.
· Went 12-of-22 (.545) from the floor and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
· 33 points is the second-highest total by a Big 12 player this season and her 12 made field goals is tied for second-most.
· For the week, connected on .487 (19-of-30) of her field goal attempts and .890 (8-of-9) from the charity stripe.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Natalie Chou, Baylor, G, Plano, Texas
· Chou came off the bench in Baylor’s only game of the week to score a career-high 15 points against Texas State.
· Tied for the team high in scoring while logging a career-high 24 minutes of action.
· All 15 of her points came via the three-point shot, as she drained 5-of-6 (.833).
· Five three-pointers in a game marked another career-high after previously making two against Mississippi Valley State.
· Added two rebounds and two assists as Baylor notched its 10th win.
· Led the team in scoring for the first time while registering double-figures for the third game.
