Five Big 12 baseball teams were ranked and two others received votes in Collegiate Baseball Newspaper’s Fabulous 40 Preseason Poll.
 
Texas Tech, a 2019 College World Series participant, leads the way amongst Conference programs at No. 3, while No. 19 Oklahoma State, No. 20 TCU and No. 22 Texas hold spots in the top-25. Oklahoma checks in at No. 30, while Baylor and West Virginia each received votes.
