Cincinnati’s Coats, Arizona’s Kramkowski and Texas Tech’s Ferraro Voted Big 12 Baseball Weekly Award Winners

Cincinnati’s Quinton Coats (player), Arizona’s Owen Kramkowski (pitcher) and Texas Tech’s Caden Ferraro (newcomer) earned the Big 12 baseball weekly awards for the fourth week of the 2026 season.

Coats led the country for the week with seven home runs in five Cincinnati victories. The sophomore infielder finished the week hitting .500 (11-for-22) with seven home runs, 17 RBI and 10 runs scored while slugging 1.545. He homered in every game and recorded multiple hits in four of the five contests, including at least three RBI in all four games against UC San Diego. The seven homers increased his season total to 12 home runs, the second-most in Division I. Additionally, he led the Big 12 in RBIs (17, No. 2 nationally), hits (11, No. 4 ) and runs (10, No. 6 nationally), while also leading the country in total bases (34).

Kramkowski was dominant in a shutout win over Fresno State, striking out a career-high 12 batters across six scoreless innings. The junior right-hander allowed just five hits and did not issue a walk as the Bulldogs were held scoreless for the first time this season. Kramkowski’s 12 strikeouts are tied for the second-most by a Big 12 pitcher this season and helped Arizona secure a series-opening 6-0 victory over Fresno State.

Ferraro powered Texas Tech to a sweep against Penn State, going 7-for-9 (.778) with a 2.229 OPS and has now reached base in 10 straight plate appearances. The junior outfielder scored six runs and posted a .846 on-base percentage for the week, continuing a streak of seven consecutive hits. Ferraro leads the Big 12 in both batting average (.471, No. 15 nationally) and on-base percentage (.608, No. 6 nationally) and has helped fuel a Red Raider offense that has won 10 of its last 11 games.
