Logan Eggleston (Texas) claimed her third-consecutive Big 12 Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week while Shanel Bramschreiber (Baylor) was honored with her first Defensive Player of the Week and Caroline Crawford (Kansas) garnered her initial Rookie of the Week.
Eggleston continues to lead Texas and the Big 12 in kills with 5.21 per set. She totaled 30 kills and 5.0 per set in back-to-back sweeps of Iowa State while hitting .409 in the two matches. The junior OH added five service aces, five blocks and 15 digs as she has helped the Longhorns to a streak of 13-straight sets won.
Junior libero Bramschreiber tallied 39 digs for a 4.88 set average in a sweep of Oklahoma. She set career-highs both nights with 19 in the opener followed by 20 in the second match and has now gone into double-digits in four consecutive outings. Her strong passing was instrumental in helping the Bears extend their winning streak to five and increasing their home-match win streak to 22, dating back to November of 2018.
Crawford played in all 10 sets against West Virginia, finishing with a career-high 13 kills in the last match. The freshman MB registered a career-best 10 blocks in the opener and added another six blocks the following night. Crawford finished the second match with a .423 attack percentage on a career-high 26 attempts.
