TCU junior Brandi Peterson was tabbed National Player of the Week as announced by the United Soccer Coaches.
Peterson, who has played every minute this season, helped the Horned Frog defense deflect 18 shots at No. 4 Oklahoma State. She scored her first career goal just 30 seconds into overtime to give TCU its first-ever win over a top-five ranked team. Earlier on Tuesday, she was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week.
Each Tuesday during the college regular season, United Soccer Coaches selects a men's and women's Player of the Week based on nominations from schools and conferences.
