Eighteen Big 12 student-athletes were named to 2021 AVCA Division I All-Region Teams while four were listed as honorable mention.

Texas’ Logan Eggleston procured the Southwest Region Player of the Year for the second straight season and Jerritt Elliott obtained Southwest Region Coach of the Year for the sixth time in his career and for the first time since 2013. Oklahoma’s Megan Wilson is the third Sooner to win Southwest Region Freshman of the Year.

Kansas’ Caroline Bien secured Midwest Region Freshman of the Year, becoming the second Jayhawk to claim the award.

Texas led Big 12 teams with six players listed, the most for the program since having six named to the team in 2017. Baylor and Iowa State were tied for second-most in the league with four players each.
