The matchup between No. 2 Baylor and No. 3 TCU came down to the final decisive singles point at No. 6 in a back-and-forth affair. TCU earned doubles wins at No. 1 (Luc Fomba/Alastair Gray def. Constantin Frantzen/Sven Lah, 6-4) and No. 3 (Jake Fearnley/Bertus Kruger def. Charlie Broom/Finn Bass, 6-2) to earn the crucial first point. The Bears then proceeded to collect three consecutive singles points with victories from Sven Lah (No. 4), Charlie Broom (No. 5) and Adrian Boitan (No. 1) to take a 3-1 advantage. TCU’s Luc Fomba (No. 2) and Sander Jong (No. 3) won their courts to even the match at 3-3. BU’s Spencer Furman edged Tadeas Paroulek, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5, at the No. 6 court to secure Baylor’s 17th appearance in the finals match.
