TCU’s Audrey Nalls (Offensive), Baylor’s Kara McGhee (Defensive) and Iowa State’s Maya Duckworth (Rookie) claimed Big 12 Volleyball accolades for the seventh week of the season. The trio helped their teams go 4-1 during the week.

Nalls landed a career-high 26 kills while leading the Horned Frogs to a 3-1 victory over Texas Tech in front of the second-largest crowd in TCU history (3,129). Her 26 kills were the most in a four-set match by any Big 12 player this season and the second-most overall. She tallied a match-high 16 kills in the contest against No. 1 Texas. The Waxahachie, Texas native has led all players in kills in each of TCU’s five Big 12 matches and leads the league in both points per set (5.55) and kills per set (5.20) during Conference play. The senior has had four matches this fall with 20-or-more kills and has reached double figures in kills in seven straight outings. This is Nalls’ second league offensive honor this season, both in the last three weeks.

McGhee helped Baylor go 2-0 during the week, which included a five-set win over Oklahoma and a road sweep of West Virginia. The senior had the second double-double of her career with 10 kills and 10 blocks against the Mountaineers while leading the team with 16.5 points. The 2022 Preseason All-Big 12 member tied for the league lead in blocks per set during the week (2.00) while leading in total blocks (16). The middle blocker’s 10 blocks against WVU tied for the third highest by any Conference player this season to help earn her first weekly league recognition this season and the sixth of her career (five defensive, one rookie).

Duckworth tied for the third-most aces by a Big 12 player in a match this season (5) and had 3.5 points per set to help ISU take down Kansas in four sets. The freshman was just two kills away from a double-double (8) to go along with her 12 digs. This marks the first Conference honor for the native of Hurst, Texas and the second weekly nod for a Cyclone this season.
