After winning the 2023 Big 12 regular season title, Texas earned the No. 1 seed for the 2023 Big 12 Men’s Tennis Championship which will take place at the Jayhawk Tennis Center in Lawrence, Kansas. The Longhorns have claimed the top seed three of the last four Big 12 Championships.

TCU claimed the No. 2 seed after finishing 4-1 in Big 12 play to extend its streak of a top-3 seed to eight consecutive Championships. The Horned Frogs claimed the No. 1 seed in 2022 after finishing 5-0 in league play.

Texas Tech secured the No. 3 seed after two road wins over Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in the final weekend of the regular season. The Sooners earned the No. 4 seed with a 2-3 record in league play and Baylor took the No. 5 seed after wrapping up its season with a home win against Oklahoma State. The Cowboys conclude the seedings with the No. 6 seed.

The first round will begin Friday, April 21 with two matches both slated for 9 a.m. CT as No. 4 Oklahoma will take on No. 5 Baylor and No. 3 Texas Tech will play No. 6 Oklahoma State.
