TCU’s Angosta, BYU’s Kim Picked As October Big 12 Golfers of the Month

TCU’s Kirstin Angosta (women’s) and BYU’s Peter Kim (men’s) were selected Big 12 Golfers of the Month for October.

Angosta won her first career medal at the Jim West Challenge, helping the Horned Frogs capture their second tournament title of the fall season. The psychology major from Las Vegas navigated Kissing Tree Golf Club at 10-under par, birdieing three of her final four holes to win both the individual and team portion of the event by one stroke. The sophomore followed up the win with a tie for 17th at the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational, helping TCU finish fourth in a field that featured five top-25 and eight top-50 teams.
