Three Florida Gators along with Colorado Goalkeeper and UC Davis Attack Player Earn Week 7 Big 12 Awards

In Week 7 of Big 12 Women’ s Lacrosse, Florida’s Theresa Bragg (defensive), Gabby Greene (freshmen), and Kaitlyn Davies (midfielder) along with Colorado’s Elena Oh (goalkeeper), and UC Davis’s Alex Agnew (attack) earned Big 12 weekly Awards.

Bragg recorded her fifth multi-caused turnover game, logging two caused turnovers and two ground balls to help the Gators gain a 16-10 win against Clemson. Bragg was pivotal in holding Clemson’s leading scorer to one goal and one shot, earning her second Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week award.

Greene recorded two goals for her third multi-goal game of the season. She also tied career highs in ground balls and draw controls in the Gators’ ranked win over Clemson.

Davies filled the stat sheet, scoring four goals, three ground balls, five draw controls and five caused turnovers, marking her career high in goals and turnovers. This was also Davies’ fourth hat-trick of the season.

  Oh earned her fourth Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week award for her performance versus Stony Brooke and Dartmouth. Over two games this week, Oh had 11 saves and a 39.3 save percentage.

 Agnew earned her first Big 12 Attack Player of the Week Award. She tied her career-high with 5 goals and 5 assists for 10 total points to help UC Davis earn a Conference win over San Diego State 24-15.
