UCF, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech clinched shares of the Big 12 Women’s Tennis regular season title for the 2025 season. All three programs finished with 12-1 records in Conference play.
UCF clinched its share with a 4-1 road win over Utah on Saturday to conclude the season 20-2 overall and undefeated at home. Oklahoma State wrapped up the season with a 4-0 road sweep against Iowa State to end Conference play with an unblemished 7-0 mark away from Stillwater. Texas Tech earned the final share with a 4-0 win at home over Arizona to cap a perfect season at home (8-0) and 19-2 overall record.
It is UCF’s first Conference title as a member of the Big 12 while it is Oklahoma State’s fifth (2001, 2016, 2017, 2024, 2025) and Texas Tech’s fourth in Conference history. The Cowgirls have now taken home a share of the Big 12 regular season title in back-to-back years for the second time while it is Texas Tech’s first since 2017 (2012, 2013, 2017, 2025).
The Lady Raiders earned the top seed for the 2025 Big 12 Women’s Tennis Championship for the first time since 2017 after winning their last eight matches. UCF secured the No. 2 seed after winning its final five Conference matches while the Cowgirls (18-6) claimed the No. 3 seed with 11 straight wins to end the regular season. Baylor rounded out the top four seeds with a 10-3 league record, its highest seed since 2022. Arizona garnered the fifth seed followed by Arizona State at No. 6, BYU at No. 7, Kansas at No. 8, TCU at No. 9, Kansas State at No. 10, Iowa State at No. 11, Utah at No. 12, Cincinnati at No. 13, Colorado at No. 14, West Virginia at No. 15 and Houston at No. 16.
Action between No. 9 TCU and No. 16 Houston will begin at 3 p.m. CT on Wednesday, April 16 as well as the matchup between No. 12 Utah and No. 13 Cincinnati.
