The Big 12 will be represented in both of the NCAA Tennis Championships quarterfinals as Oklahoma State advanced in the women’s bracket while TCU moved on in the men’s bracket.
After falling behind 3-2, the Cowgirls rallied for a 4-3 victory over Stanford to return to the NCAA women’s quarterfinals for the first time since 2017. Oklahoma State will compete in the Elite Eight for the third time in program history. They have won 15 of their last 16 matches and improved to 20-2 all-time in postseason matches at their home facility, the Greenwood Tennis Center. OSU is slated to face No. 3 seed Michigan on Thursday, May 15, at 7 p.m. CT.
The Horned Frogs advanced to the Elite Eight for the sixth consecutive season and for the eighth time in the last 10 years. Their 4-0 win over UCF extended their home winning streak to 35 matches to mark the second consecutive season they’ve finished undefeated at home. TCU will take on No. 7 seed Virginia on Friday, May 16 at 4 p.m. CT at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas, with a semifinals berth on the line.
