K-State, TCU and TTU Capture First Big 12 Soccer Weekly Honors for the 2025 Season

Texas Tech’s Taylor Zdrojewski and Macy Blackburn earned the season’s first offensive and defensive soccer awards, while K-State’s goalkeeper Maddie Sibbing and TCU freshman Kamdyn Fuller rounded out the 2025 soccer season’s first set of Big 12 weekly awards.

Zdrojewski scored in both of the Red Raiders’ wins over San Diego State and Youngstown State, tallying a combined eight points during the opening week. She registered a goal and an assist in TTU’s 4-0 victory against the Aztecs before she recorded a brace and an assist against the Penguins. The junior is tied for third in the nation in points (eight) and tied for fourth in goals (four) scored this season.

Blackburn and the TTU defense held SDSU scoreless while only allowing one goal from YSU, on a combined 10 shots between the two teams. The reigning Big 12 Defender of the Year marked her second career three-assist game, helping the Red Raiders to a road win at San Diego State. Currently tied for the nation’s lead in assists this season, Blackburn led the league with 10 assists last season.

Sibbing’s two shutouts set a new milestone for the K-State Wildcats they won their first two matches of the season for the first time since 2018. The sophomore’s two saves in the season opener against Oral Roberts opened the season with a win (2-0). She then recorded a save against Portland State (2-0) to become the second Wildcat keeper (Emma Malsey, 2018) to earn two clean sheets in their first two contests with the program.

In her collegiate debut, Fuller posted a five-point performance against Pepperdine after scoring two goals and dishing out an assist to lead TCU to a 6-1 win. The Southlake, Texas native became the first Horned Frog freshman to have a multi-goal showing since the 2022 Big 12 Soccer Championship Quarterfinals. Fuller then played 74 minutes against UTSA to round out her week.
