IRVING, Texas - Texas Tech's Titus Kimaru (men's) and Lily Mather (women's) both won their respective races at the Nike XC Town Twilight meet at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course. Their performances earned them both Red Raiders Big 12 Runner of the Week honors. 

Kimaru was Texas Tech's sole male representative at the Nike XC Town Twilight meet. He won the men’s 8K in 23:53.5, finishing one minute and five seconds ahead of the field. The victory marked his fourth consecutive meet win of the season and his second race of the year in which he won by at least one minute. 

Mather paced the Red Raiders to a second-place overall finish. Mather clocked in her 6k time at 20:29.3. This is her second win of the season in her third race of the year.
