Texas Tech’s Denisa Vodickova (women’s) and Ben Gregg (men’s) collected Big 12 Golfer of the Week awards after leading the Red Raiders to top-two team finishes and top-three finishes individually.

Vodickova captured medalist honors at the MountainView Collegiate, firing a career-low 9-under 207. The sophomore posted two rounds in the 60’s, including a 5-under 67 in the second round, doubling her season total of sub-70 rounds. The Red Raiders finished second in the event at -16, shooting the low number for the second and third rounds. It is the first weekly honor of her career.

Gregg helped the Red Raiders to a six-stroke victory at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational, a field that featured 10 top-25 teams. Texas Tech came in at a tournament-record -45, capturing its first team title of the season. The junior led the Red Raiders with a career-best finish, tying for third at 13-under 200. He recorded back-to-back career-low rounds versus par with 5-under 66's in rounds two and three. It is his first Big 12 in-season honor.
