Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout (men’s) and Iowa State’s Nichakorn Pinprayoon (women’s) secured Big 12 Golfer of the Week honors after individual wins as the regular season winds to a close.
 
Stout picked up his third win in five starts with an 11-under 205 at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The junior from Richardson, Texas signed for three scorecards in 60’s as he picked up a one-stroke victory at the Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye. The Cowboys tied for fourth in the event. It is Stout’s season-leading third Golfer of the Week honor, and the fifth in-season honor for the defending NCAA team champions this season.
 
Pinprayoon became the second Iowa State player to break 200 over 54 holes, posting a 17-under 199 to capture her second tournament victory of the year at the Wyoming Cowgirl Golf Classic. The sophomore from Thailand bogeyed just once in 54 holes, using 18 birdies to turn in three scorecards in the 60’s and earn her second Big 12 Golfer of the Week honor. The Cyclones finished the tournament with a 26-under score at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club to win their second consecutive team title, this one by 23 strokes.
