Kansas’ Luke Honner was named Big 12 Men’s Golfer of the Week, helping the Jayhawks to their first team title of the season at the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational.
Honner battled the 7,355-yard Pfau Course at Indiana University to a 1-over 214, tying for second place, his best finish as a Jayhawk. The senior battled tough conditions that saw the 88-person field average more than five strokes over par. It marked his first top 10 of the season and the third of his two-year KU career.
