TCU’s Becca Kelley (offensive), Alice Volpe (defensive), Rosemary Archer (setter) and Kinsley Young (rookie) were recognized as the Big 12 Volleyball weekly award winners for Week Two of the 2026 season.
 
Kelley earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after helping No. 18 TCU earn two top 15 wins in Week Two. The senior outside hitter led the Horned Frogs offensively as she recorded the third-most points per set and fourth-most kills per set in the Big 12. Kelley added 17 digs and nine blocks over the matches. She highlighted her week with a 20-kill, four-block performance in TCU’s win over then-No. 8 SMU.
 
Volpe was named Defensive Player of the Week after anchoring the Horned Frog defense with the fifth-most digs per set in the Conference. The senior libero led TCU’s defense in its efforts to hold SMU to a .204 clip offensively with 20 digs. She followed that with 17 digs in the Horned Frogs’ sweep of then-No. 14 Purdue, as TCU held them to a .172 hitting percentage.
 
Archer collected Setter of the Week recognition after dishing out 79 assists. The Horned Frogs recorded a .283 hitting percentage over the three matches as they won six of 11 sets against the three ranked opponents. The senior setter tallied 40 assists in TCU’s win over the Mustangs, while she added another 23 in the sweep over the Boilermakers.
 
Young secured Rookie of the Week honors after tying for the fourth-most blocks per set (1.55) among Big 12 players for the week. Her 17 blocks were tied for the second-most in the Conference, including a career-high nine blocks and a match-winner against the Mustangs. The team recorded 19.5 blocks against SMU, the eighth-most in a single match in school history. She added eight kills with a .467 hitting percentage against then-No. 6 Louisville, both career-best marks.
 
Joining Archer, Kelley, Volpe and Young on the Big 12 Starting Seven, which honors strong performances across the league, are Cincinnati’s Kate Lijic, Colorado’s Ana Burilovic and West Virginia’s Mirjam Kask. Lijic led the Conference with 142 assists across 12 sets, for an average of 11.83 assists per set in Cincinnati’s four matches. Burilovic led Colorado to a 3-0 week as she recorded the most kills (58) and points (68) in the Conference for the week, including a season-high 25 kills against New Mexico. Kask highlighted her week with a Big 12-leading 11 blocks in WVU’s program-record-setting 21 total blocks against Florida Atlantic.
