SAN ANTONIO -- Katie Griffin tallied a goal and an assist as No. 2 seed Colorado beat No. 7 seed Oklahoma 2-0 in the third quarterfinal game of the Big 12 Soccer Championship at Blossom Soccer Stadium.

Colorado, 11-6-3, advances to Friday's second semifinal at 6:30 p.m. CT against the winner of No. 3 seed Iowa State vs. No. 6 seed Texas. Oklahoma drops to 13-6-1.

Kathryn Grandinetti scored the game-winner at 31:59 in the first half from three yards out off of Griffin's assist. Grandinetti has three goals in her last four games after going scoreless in her previous 22 matches, dating back to the Oct. 22, 2004, game vs. Oklahoma.

Griffin knocked in her 10th goal of the season at the 75:05 mark with an assist from Fran Munnelly.

Colorado had 27 shots compared to 13 for Oklahoma. OU goalkeeper Jennifer Nichols recorded four saves while CU's Kirstin Radlinkski had two.
