SAN ANTONIO -- Texas A&M's Suzzette Devloo came in off the bench to score the game-winning goal as top seed Texas A&M beat No. 2 seed Colorado 2-1 in double-overtime in the Big 12 Championship final at Blossom Soccer Stadium.
The Aggies won their fourth overall postseason championship and second consecutive to earn the Big 12's automatic berth into the NCAA Soccer Championship. A&M improves its record to 16-3-2 while CU falls to 12-7-3.
Devloo shot off a cross from Laura Probst to record the winning goal just 38 seconds into the second overtime. It was her second game-winning goal of the season versus Colorado.
Melissa Garey gave Texas A&M a 1-0 lead in the first half off of Kat Krambeer's assist when she played through the ball at the top of the box. Colorado tied it up in the second period when Alexis Cousins scored her first goal of the year from Laura Munnelly's assist.
