The Big 12 Men's Golf Championship will be contested on April 24-25 at Southern Hills Golf Course in Tulsa, Okla., for the second time in conference history.

Southern Hills, which stretches 7,016 yards and is a par 71, was most recently the site of the 2001 U.S. Open and will sponsor the event again in 2007.

Prairie Dunes in Hutchinson, Kan., hosted the first six events (1997-2002, 04) before the 2003 competition was played at Southern Hills. Last year the championship was held at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Trinity, Texas.

Oklahoma State tallied a three-round total of four-over-par 868 to win the 2005 crown by nine strokes over Oklahoma. The Cowboys led every round of the championship en route to their fourth Big 12 title, first since 2000, and 49th conference title overall. Oklahoma's Anthony Kim captured medalist honors with an eight-under 208 after finishing as runner-up at the '04 championship.

OSU now leads the league with four titles while Texas has captured three league championships, followed by Kansas and Baylor with one apiece.

Admission is free to the public.
