The 2011 Big 12 men's golf postseason award winners have been set, the Conference office announced. Oklahoma State's Peter Uihlein garnered Player of the Year honors while Texas' Toni Hakula was named Newcomer of the Year. Oklahoma State's Mike McGraw was selected Coach of the Year in a vote by the leagues' head coaches.

The 2011 All-Big 12 Team was identified by using the top 10 highest-ranked student-athletes according to the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings following the Big 12 Championship. OSU and Texas A&M each had three golfers named to the team. The Cowboys were represented by Morgan Hoffmann, Kevin Tway and Uihlein. TAMU honorees were Ignacio Elvira, Jordan Russell and Conrad Shindler. Texas had two selections with Dylan Frittelli and Bobby Hudson, while Texas Tech also had two in Nils Floren and Matt Smith.

The Player and Newcomer of the Year are automatically selected as the highest ranked individual from the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings following the Conference championship. Junior Uihlein earned the Player of the Year award as the No.-1 ranked player in the country. The reigning U.S. Amateur champion won two events this year and carded five top-5 finishes, including a fourth-place tie at the 2011 Big 12 Championship. Hakula has notched two top-10 finishes during the fall and spring. The freshman finished in a tie for seventh at the Big 12 Championship after carding a fourth-round 71 to jump 12 spots and earn All-Tournament Team honors.

McGraw earned his fifth-straight Coach of the Year honor after leading his Cowboys to their 54th conference title in the 65-year history of the program. McGraw led the No.-1 ranked Cowboys to seven wins on the year including OSU's league-leading ninth Big 12.
