Note: For each individual swimming event, the women's event will be swum first, followed by the men's event. Championship relays will be swum prior to B relays.
* The 800 free relay will begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of the 200 medily relay
** The start times for all but the final heat of the 1650 will be set to finish heats by 5:00 PM
About the Championship
The University of Texas will host the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships for the ninth time in conference history. The event will be held at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, and will takes place Feb. 25 – Feb. 28.
The field will consist of the five institutions that sponsor women's programs: Iowa State, Kansas, TCU, Texas and West Virginia, along with the three schools that have men's teams: TCU, Texas and West Virginia.
Texas swept the 2014 championship, taking home both the men's and women's titles. The Longhorn men's squad has won the Big 12 Championship every year since the conference was formed in 1996, giving UT 18 titles. On the women's side Texas has collected a league best 12 Big 12 titles.
