Twelve individuals are honored on the 2017 All-Big 12 Men's Golf Postseason Awards. Highlighting the honors are Player of the Year Doug Ghim (Texas), Newcomer of the Year Cooper Dossey (Baylor) and Coach of the Year John Fields (Texas). Student-athlete awards are based on the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings while Coach of the Year honors are voted on by league coaches.

This marks the third straight and seventh overall time that a Longhorn has been named Player of the Year. Ghim earned the honor after being named the ninth-best golfer in the nation following the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship. The junior helped solidify UT's championship victory by adding birdies on the 17th and 18th holes in the final round.

Dossey's became the second Newcomer of the Year in Baylor history (previous: Jamie McLeary, 2002) after ranking a Big 12 newcomer best No. 37 in the national rankings. Dossey recorded a 69.95 rating.

For the fifth straight season, John Fields, has been named Big 12 Coach of the Year, where he has led the Longhorns to a Big 12 title in as many years. Coach Fields owns the most league honors in history.

In addition to the individual awards, 11 golfers were named to the All-Big 12 Team. The honor is determined by the highest positioned student-athletes according to the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, in addition to the Big 12 Men's Golf Individual Champion.
