The Oklahoma Sooners won the 2018 Big 12 Men’s Golf Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla., with a final round score of 287 (+7) to bring their four-day total to 1139 (+19).
The Sooners outlasted the Iowa State Cyclones, who entered the day at second place before their 296 (+16) final round score pushed them to fourth behind a second-place tie between Oklahoma State and Texas at 1147 (+27).
The Sooners placed three golfers in the top ten. There was a four-way tie for the medalist honors: Grant Hirschman of Oklahoma, Gandon of Kansas State, Doug Ghim of Texas and Kristoffer Ventura of Oklahoma State with an overall score of 283 (+3).
