West Virginia’s David Dixon claimed his second consecutive Big 12 Men’s Swimmer of the Week while fellow Mountaineer Ally VanNetta and Iowa State’s Lucia Rizzo shared Women’s Swimmer of the Week. WVU’s PJ Lenz and ISU’s Jayna Misra were named the Divers of the Week. Lenz also picked up his second consecutive weekly award.  
 
Dixon paced the men's swimmers in WVU's final regular season meet against Notre Dame, earning a victory and a pair of second and third place finishes. He led the way in the 200 butterfly for the second consecutive meet, touching the wall in 1:46.79 to earn the win. The senior placed second in the 100 butterfly (48.06) and third in the 200 individual medley (1:48.50) in addition to participating on two relays.
 
Rizzo picked up three titles in the Cyclones’ last meet with wins in the 100 fly (57.92), 200 fly (2:06.16) and 200 IM (2:07.86). She has won five individual events through her first two meets.
 
VanNetta secured wins in the 100 backstroke (54.43) and 200 backstroke (1:56.43) for the second straight outing. She also helped the 400 medley relay to a third place finish against No. 18 Notre Dame.
 
Lenz notched a trio of second-place finishes on the platform and springboard events to lead the Mountaineer divers. He scored a 342.60 on the platform, a 353.35 on the 1-meter and a 392.33 on the 3-meter.
 
Misra registered her second career A-cut Zone qualifying score with her performance on the 1-meter. She won the event with a total of 320.55. Through her first three competitions, Misra has four Zone cuts.
