Texas’ 1V8 recorded two sub-6:10.50 marks to win both its preliminary and A final races by more than 11 seconds at the 20^th Longhorn Invitational and claimed the Big 12 Boat of the Week honor.
 
In the A Final, Texas posted a time of 6:10.43 to defeat runner-up No. 14 SMU by 11.321 seconds, as well as No. 10 Alabama and Notre Dame. In the preliminary heat, Texas’ 6:10.433 was 22.476 seconds better than second-place finisher Notre Dame.
