TCU’s Tania Quaglieri rounded out the women’s awards with the Big 12 Women’s Swimmer of the Week.

Tiffany earned his fourth Conference award of the year and second Big 12 Men’s Swimmer of the Week of the season. The junior human resources major led the Cougars to a win over Air Force and Colorado Mesa by nearly 300 points. Tiffany clocked the fourth-fastest time in program history in the 200 IM as he won the event in 1:45.56, breaking his own Richards Building Pool record that he set while in high school in 2019. The Pleasant Grove, Utah native also added wins in the 100 fly (48.36), 100 back (48.45) and 200 medley relay (1:30.12).

Quaglieri accomplished her best meet as a Horned Frog as she won all three of her events against Iowa State. The graduate student who is getting her master’s in business analytics won the 100 back (55.06), 200 back (2:02.37) and 100 fly (55.91) to account for three of TCU’s 10 gold medals in the meet. It is her first Conference award of her career.

Strauss earned his second award of the season and first since the opening week of the season. The senior physical education teaching major completed six dives in both events, scoring 353.89 points on the 1-meter dive and 352.60 points on the 3-meter and grabbing the top spot in both standings.

Jackson accounted for 32 of the Cougars’ points in their win against Air Force and Colorado Mesa. The sophomore physical education teaching student finished with a score of 308.8 on the 3-meter dive and 284.05 on the 1-meter, both the highest of the meet. It is her first Conference award of the season.

Bumgardner took home the Big 12 Men’s Newcomer of the Week with a win in the 500 free. The freshman from Frederick, Maryland, who is studying animal biology, clocked a top time of 4:38.06 in the Bearcats’ 199-63 win over Xavier. It is his first Conference award of the season.
