Oklahoma State took home all four of the Big 12 Equestrian Rider of Month awards for October as Riley Hogan earned the distinction in both the fences and flat disciplines while teammates Claire McDowall and Quincee Clark joined her with recognition in the horsemanship and reining events, respectively.
Hogan finished unblemished in the month of October in fences while gathering three consecutive MOP awards in team wins over UC Davis, No. 10 UT Martin and Baylor. The four individual wins improved her career win total in the discipline to 35, the second most all-time in Oklahoma State history. She averaged a score of 83.63 in fences for the month with an average win margin of 6.5. In the flat discipline, the marketing and international business student finished 3-1 with two MOPs against No. 3 TCU and Baylor. Her career-high score of 89.5 in flat against the Horned Frogs was 12.5 more points than her average score for October (77) and helped her maintain an average win margin of 6.67 for the month. These are her second and third Conference monthly awards of her career.
McDowall recorded a perfect 4-0 record in horsemanship for the month while recording MOP in all four meets. The fifth-year management major averaged a score of 73.63 and improved her career win total to 34. It is her second Conference monthly award of her career after being named the Big 12 Horsemanship Rider of the Month for the month of November in 2023.
Clark earned her first career monthly Conference accolade with a perfect 4-0 record. The senior from Doddsville, Mississippi earned one MOP in her competition against UC Davis where she prevailed with a 70.5-67 victory. Her career win total in reining rose to 26 as she averaged 69.81 for the month.
