SARASOTA, Fla. – Texas took all five races to win its ninth consecutive Conference title at the 2024 Big 12 Rowing Championship at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. The title gives Texas its 13
th victory in the last 15 years.
The Longhorns finished with 112 points while Tennessee finished runner-up with 98 points and silver medals in all five races. Alabama finished the medal stand with 76 points for third place and bronze medals in the Third Eight, Second Four, First Four and First Eight. The standings finished with UCF at No. 4 with a bronze in the Second Eight and 74 points, Oklahoma at No. 5 with 56 points, Kansas State at No. 6 with 39 points, Kansas at No. 7 with 34 points and West Virginia at No. 8 with 21 points.
The Conference’s squads await the NCAA selection show that will stream on Tuesday, May 21 at 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT on NCAA.com. The NCAA Championship will be held May 31-June 2 at East Fork/Harsha Lake in Bethel, Ohio.
The All-Big 12 Team is listed below and is selected based on Championship finish. Individual honors for Big 12 Rower, Newcomer and Coach of the Year will be announced Thursday, May 23.
