2025 Big 12 Equestrian Championship Seedings Announced

The seedings for the 2025 Big 12 Equestrian Championship have been announced. The Championship will be held at Bear Creek Farms in Burleson, Texas on March 28-29. TCU will host the Championship for the first time since 2022.

Baylor, Fresno State, Oklahoma State and TCU will compete in four events under the two Equestrian disciplines: Western (Horsemanship, Reining) and Jumping Seat (Flat, Fences).

TCU (9-4, 5-1) earned the top seed for the second consecutive year while four-time defending Conference champion Oklahoma State (7-5, 3-3) secured the second seed. Baylor (5-6, 2-4) grabbed the third seed while Fresno State (7-6, 2-4) rounded out the seedings at No. 4.

The seedings were determined via a seeding grid that accounted for location, win/loss and NCEA rankings at the time of each conference match.

All four Conference teams finished the season ranked in the top 10 of the NCEA rankings with TCU leading the way at No. 3 followed by Oklahoma State at No. 5, Fresno State at No. 8 and Baylor at No. 9.

The 2025 Big 12 Equestrian Championship will be broadcast on ESPN+.
