TCU and Baylor Earn September Big 12 Equestrian Awards

TCU's Lilly Goldstein (flat, fences) and Sydney Feager (horsemanship), along with Baylor's Paulina Bradley (reining) were named the Big 12 Equestrian September Riders of the Month. 

Seventh-ranked TCU defeated South Dakota State 16-2. Goldstein opened her season in the jumping seat with an MOP performance in fences, and an 88-77 individual victory. This marked her fifth fences MOP of her career. Goldstein added another MOP performance in flat, posting a score of 90 to earn a 12-point victory over SDSU's Heidi White. 

In the western seat, Feager continued the momentum for the Horned Frogs earning an MOP with a three-point victory over SDSU's Hailey Hanson, after posting a score of 77. Feager averaged a score of 73.75 for the month in TCU's three meets this season.

Bradley opened her collegiate career with a 1-0 record in reining as ninth-ranked Baylor opened its season against South Dakota State. Her first collegiate victory came against SDSU, where she posted a 72.25-70.25 victory. Bradley bested her opponent by two points, earning her first career MOP honor.
