IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State and TCU will compete for a national title after the National Collegiate Equestrian Association released the seeds for the 2025 NCEA National Championship.
Oklahoma State, who won its fifth consecutive Big 12 Equestrian Championship, was seeded the highest out of the Big 12 programs with the No. 3 seed. The Cowgirls (9-5 overall, 3-3 Big 12) will face off against No. 6 seed Texas A&M. It will be the first time that OSU competes against the Aggies in the NCEA Championship since OSU’s last NCEA title in 2022.
TCU earned the No. 4 seed and will compete against No. 5 seed South Carolina. The Horned Frogs (10-5 overall, 5-1 Big 12) finished as the NCEA National Runner-up in 2024, the highest finish in program history.
Neither the Cowgirls nor the Horned Frogs competed against their first-round opponent in the 2024-25 regular season.
This year’s national event will be held April 16-19 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.
