Arizona’s Alexander Rozin earned the first Big 12 Men’s Tennis Player of the Week accolade for the 2026 season.
Rozin totaled five of the team’s 26 points at the Hidden Dual in Boca Raton, Florida, going 3-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles to open his 2026 season.
The junior began the tournament by defeating No. 7 Max Dahlin of Michigan, 7-5, 6-4, for his first win of the season. Rozin continued to roll in the wins, defeating No. 25 Clemson’s Manuel Plunger, 6-4, 6-2, before wrapping up singles play against Florida’s No. 115 Lorenzo Claverie, 6-4, 4-2 (ret). Teaming up on the top court with Zoran Ludoski for doubles, the duo dispatched Clemson, 6-4 and Florida, 7-5, to close out the tournament.
This is the first Conference award Rozin has garnered, and he is the fourth wildcat to earn weekly honors since Arizona joined the league in 2024-25.
