IRVING, Texas – North Dakota State redshirt junior Devin Wasley was selected as the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week following a trio of wins at the Davidson Duals. Wasley becomes the first NDSU wrestler to earn weekly Conference accolades since Max Petersen won during the 2023-24 season.

Wasley’s three wins were highlighted by his 5-0 decision over the No. 10 wrestler at 197 pounds, Bucknell’s Dillon Bechtold. The Hammond, Wisconsin native went on to dominate Dylan Smith from Davidson with a 15-0 tech fall in the first period, and he ended his run with a 5-2 decision over Lock Haven’s Tucker Hogan.

Coming off a pair of team victories in Davidson, North Carolina, North Dakota State returns to competition with a Big 12 match versus California Baptist on Sunday, Jan. 25 at the Scheels Center in Fargo.
