Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout (men’s) and UCF’s Mila Jurine (women’s) procured Big 12 Golfer of the Week honors after leading their teams to tournament victories.
 
Stout lapped the field at the Cabo Collegiate, winning by seven strokes at 15-under par. The junior from Richardson, Texas turned in three scorecards in the 60’s, while birdieing 21 of the 54 holes he played at Twin Dolphin Golf Club. His total of 198 helped the Cowboys, who are the reigning Big 12 and national champions, pick up their second event win of the season, this one coming by a single stroke over a field that featured eight of the current top 25 teams. This is the second Big 12 in-season award for the reigning Conference individual champion, who picked up Golfer of the Month last April.
 
Jurine was instrumental to the Knights’ win in Vegas, a 13-stroke victory at the Lady Luck Invitational that marked the team’s second event win of the season. The sophomore from Reunion, France was one of three players in the field of 76 to be under par after 54 holes at Las Vegas Country Club. She flew 10 places up the leaderboard with a final-round 68 to finish at 1-under par for the event, tying for second individually. She is the first UCF golfer to win an in-season Conference golf award since 2023.
